Note from Karrie: These are my favorite boots made by HKM, especially for the summer time. Research is showing that overheating the lower legs can lead to additional damage. These boots are easy to clean off in the wash stall, provide protection on the inside of the legs against interfering legs, and allow air to reach the legs. The edges are lined with a polyester material to reduce ripping.

Sizing Note: I typically wear a 24Short but wear a 24Regular to allow for additional room around the knees (when bent) while riding in order to avoid the breeches feeling tight & restrictive around the knees. You may notice the fit feels loose in the seat and thighs while standing when compared to non-softshell/winter breeches, this is to be expected and needed to avoid the restrictive feeling in your seat & legs while riding.
